PRINT REGISTRATION FORM HERE: Registration Form 2017
This year, our conference is taking place in November in honor of National Family Caregiver Month. Caring for others can feel like it is happening all at once and in many directions; caring for parents, children, family members, friends, and most importantly, ourselves. Keynote speakers will be Rev. Dr. Anna Madsen, Lutheran pastor, freelance theologian, and owner of the Spent Dandelion Retreat Center in Two Harbors, and Sean Kershaw, Executive Director of Citizen’s League in St. Paul. They will present, discuss, and dive deeper into what it means to be a caregiver, how to care for oneself as the caregiver, and the future of aging and caregiving in Minnesota. Overall, it will be an educational and interactive experience for participants with the ultimate goal of providing tools for caregivers so they may provide care longer.
The conference is open to all seniors, family caregivers, professional caregivers, service providers, volunteers, and neighbors – anyone who wants to learn about caregiving, aging, and community resources! The event will also feature a luncheon meal and an information resource fair.
Registration Fee: $15.00 per person* (can pay in advance or at the door)
